About the role
RIPC Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join a growing, physician-led medical group delivering high-quality, value-based care in a fully outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan
- See 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and care teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
- Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management
- Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
- Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records
- Incorporate in-office procedures based on experience and interest (optional)
- Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available)
- Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Hold an active, unrestricted Rhode Island medical license or be eligible to obtain one
- Commitment to patient-centered, value-based care
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment
- Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred)
Qualifications
- Experience in a primary care setting preferred
- Interest in community-based primary care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
