Responsibilities

• Provide for the medical care of patients
• Direct and manage a complete continuum of high-quality care within the care team
• Treat chronic diseases and disorders
• Review patient file/record, including allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status
• Elicit and record information about patient's medical history
• Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition
• Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination and diagnose condition of patient
• Participate with peers, employed specialists, such as dermatology, podiatry, and wound care for the comprehensive care of patient
• Participate in business and patient care meetings
• Perform all other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Medicine and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Physician-related occupation
• 36 months of experience in: providing diagnosis, treatment, therapy and management of patients according to current standards of care; utilizing managed care processes for cost-effective and efficient use of lab, radiology and extended service providers; completing timely and comprehensive medical documentation in EMR systems according to company standards; conducting or directing education effective communications to patients, families, and other health care providers; conducting educational activities for organization's physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and their ancillary staff for the purposes of education and patient care
• Must possess a valid Texas Medical or Physician License

$235,000 per year
