Primary Care Physician
About the role
Become a part of our caring community CenterWell / Conviva Primary Care, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is looking for a primary care physician for our clinic in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Take a hands-on approach, addressing patient needs inside the exam room and understanding the impact of social determinants of health on health outcomes.
- Participate in a unique care model that sets us apart for both patients and providers.
- Expertise in senior-focused primary care with a versatile approach.
- Report to the Associate Medical Director.
- Work onsite and in-person at the Conviva West St. Lucie Center in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.
- Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain).
- Current, unrestricted DEA license.
- Minimum of two+ years of experience.
- One+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients.
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.
- Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.
- Fully fluent in Spanish and English.
Qualifications
- Experience with Medicare guidelines and HEDIS quality indicators.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a busy schedule and see 14-17 patients per day.
- Willingness to spend more time with patients and have longer authorized appointments (45 minutes).
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHRs).

Pay
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $255,000 - $298,500 per year
