Role Overview This position involves practicing professional nursing and medicine, including independent and delegated medical functions, patient advocacy, and delivering comprehensive care. The role requires utilizing specialized knowledge to evaluate, diagnose, and treat various human conditions, promote health, and provide supportive and restorative care. Key Responsibilities Data Collection: Obtain medical histories, perform physical exams, and review relevant studies.Assessment: Formulate accurate diagnoses and differential diagnoses.Treatment Planning: Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with collaborating physicians, including medication orders and follow-up care.Procedural Skills: Perform procedures within expertise and in compliance with regulations.Patient Education: Counsel patients and families on treatment, disease prevention, and health promotion, ensuring culturally sensitive communication.Documentation: Record all clinical data, diagnostic impressions, and care activities accurately.Additional Tasks: Conduct telehealth encounters, manage urgent situations, and perform administrative duties. Professional Expectations Maintain clinical competence through ongoing education and licensure.Participate in training, mentoring, quality assurance, and peer review activities.Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and respect cultural differences.Ensure a safe, confidential environment and prioritize patient-centered care. Qualifications For APN: Graduate degree in nursing, licensure, and certification including prescriptive authority.For PA: Bachelor's degree, PA certification, and licensure.Mandatory registrations include DEA, BLS, and NPI.Additional credentialing and certification requirements apply.
