Role Overview This position involves practicing professional nursing and medicine in collaboration with physicians, utilizing specialized knowledge to assess, diagnose, and treat patients. Responsibilities include collecting patient data, formulating diagnoses, developing treatment plans, performing procedures within authorized limits, and educating patients on health promotion and disease prevention. Key Duties Gather comprehensive medical histories and conduct physical examinations.Review relevant lab and imaging studies to assess patient conditions.Develop and implement treatment strategies, including medication orders and referrals.Perform procedures within expertise and regulatory guidelines.Educate patients and families, promoting health and prevention.Document all clinical activities accurately in medical records.Manage telehealth encounters, emergency actions, and administrative tasks.Lead and collaborate within a healthcare team, ensuring safe, patient-centered care.Maintain professional competence through continuing education and certifications.Adhere to legal, ethical, and organizational policies. Qualifications Graduate degree in Nursing or Bachelor's in related health field.Valid licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Colorado.Prescriptive authority and DEA registration within specified timelines.Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and compliance with applicable laws and policies.Must demonstrate professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to quality care.
