About the role
Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is a well-respected, nationally recognized and award-winning public healthcare system with two hospital campuses, an urgent care clinic, and an integrated network of primary and specialty care practices in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston’s Metro North Region. CHA is an academic affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS) and serves an ethnically and socio‑economically diverse patient population. Opportunities are available for physicians specializing in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Med/Peds. The system uses a fully integrated EMR (Epic) and offers teaching opportunities and academic appointments. Incoming physicians will work with a collegial group of providers who share CHA’s mission and values, and the position carries an HMS appointment of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications, and commitment to teaching responsibilities.
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds
- Commitment to caring for CHA’s ethnically and socio‑economically diverse, underserved patient population
Qualifications
- Interest and commitment to teaching, with eligibility for an HMS academic appointment (Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor)
- Ability to fulfill teaching responsibilities as part of the role

Pay
Full‑time guaranteed base salary range of $240,000–$260,000, based on years of experience. Total compensation includes base salary plus a production incentive.
