About the role

MUSC Health Orangeburg Primary Care and Obstetrics is seeking a full-time BC/BE Family Medicine with OB physician.

Responsibilities

• Play an integral role in growing and shaping the new Family Medicine Residency Program at MUSC Health - Orangeburg Medical Center.
• Positively impact rural healthcare access within our state.
• Serve as a role model, mentor, and advisor to residents in the program.
• Contribute to the development of program curriculum and evaluation tools.
• Provide appropriate levels of resident supervision to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in program evaluation and clinical competency committees.
• Prepare and deliver structured educational activities.
• Participate in faculty development initiatives.

Requirements

• BC/BE in Family Medicine Obstetrics.
• Unrestricted SC licensure and federal and state-controlled substance registration.
• Demonstrated interest in the education of residents.
• Collaborative and collegial demeanor with commitment to high-quality patient care.
