Full-time, Regular position – 36 scheduled weekly hours, Day shift (Monday-Friday, no holidays).

About the Role

In an outpatient setting, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) remains accountable for provision of direct care to assigned patients. This role contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system, working as a team member and assisting other staff with implementing patient care. The LPN assumes responsibility for care of assigned patients under the direction of a co-assigned RN or MD.

Artemis Health Internal Medicine practice provides outpatient services for the adult population (18 years and older), including preventative health maintenance, chronic and acute care needs. The LPN will be part of a collaborative team comprised of Ambulatory Techs, RNs, Physicians, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting.
• Administer medication and vaccines.
• Perform minor laboratory testing.
• Communicate with patients and providers using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Participate in the plan of care, implement appropriate nursing interventions, and contribute to patient/family education through data collection, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation, and communication.
• Support unit activities and the enhancement of the care delivery system.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of direct nursing care experience preferred but not required.
• Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset.
• Enjoys collaborating with others in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $26.75 - $36.11 per hour. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within this range, considering factors such as market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity.
