Primary Care/Integrative Medicine Physician
About the role
The Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages, including preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, management of chronic conditions, and referral to specialists.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum primary care, including preventive care, acute illness treatment, and management of chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) for patients of all ages
- Deliver wellness examinations, health screenings, and immunizations to support disease prevention
- Counsel patients on diet, lifestyle choices, and disease management
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging
- Offer guidance, counseling, and education on wellness, disease management, and medication adherence to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records, utilizing EPIC appropriately
- Provide and document direct treatment for patients, including ordering medications, referrals, and following up on specialist consultations
- Participate in primary care division activities, including peer review programs, quality metric improvement, and policy development
Requirements
- Board-Eligible/Board-Certified
- Active or eligible license in the state of Kentucky

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and proficiency in electronic health record systems are essential.

Pay
The posted compensation range is $250,000 - $350,000/year, reflecting the reasonable estimate of what CommonSpirit Health might pay for this position based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Schedule
The schedule is 80 hours per pay period, with a shift of Day.
