Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions in a primary care and sports medicine setting.
- Manage musculoskeletal complaints, performance-related injuries, and general internal medicine or family medicine needs.
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans and coordinate care across Madison Medical’s multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with pain and spine specialists, chiropractors, physical therapy and rehabilitation providers, and clinical support staff to ensure continuity and integrated care.
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies, and manage follow-up care based on clinical findings.
- Provide patient education focused on prevention, long-term wellness, and health optimization.
- Accurate and timely documentation is required, along with adherence to clinical protocols, compliance standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Depending on training and credentialing, provide services related to hormone optimization, metabolic health, and performance medicine.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be an MD or DO licensed (or eligible for licensure) in good standing.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.
- Sports medicine experience or fellowship training is strongly preferred.
- Experience in primary care, musculoskeletal medicine, wellness optimization, metabolic medicine, or performance medicine is a plus.
- The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment with a strong focus on patient experience.
