About the Role
Develops pricing strategies to meet customers' needs while ensuring profitability for the organization. Determines core business costs of service to support pricing and tariff development, designs and maintains pricing infrastructures, and evaluates the effectiveness of pricing strategies. Modifies pricing structures as needed and provides reporting and documentation of pricing structures. Serves as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from the internal sales department.
Responsibilities
- Develops pricing models for organizational goods and services.
- Collects and analyzes data relating to current and predicted market conditions, cost overhead, or competition pricing to recommend pricing strategies or standardizing pricing guidelines.
- Balances project needs with expected product demand to maximize revenue, market share, or profit margin.
- Models pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance.
- May provide customized pricing to the sales team.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Critical professional-related technical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance or a related field.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and statistical knowledge.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel Requirements
Up to 25% travel likely.
