Pricing Specialist

Responsibilities
- Executes tactical day-to-day pricing tasks in support of National and Network Account pricing operations.
- Accurately and timely upload of pricing information.
- Based on contractual requirements, perform straight-line price updates.
- Maintain data integrity across pricing systems.
- Serve as a foundational execution resource within the pricing team, ensuring contractual pricing obligations are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Implement pricing strategies that optimize profitability while remaining competitive.
- Utilize data analysis and market research to evaluate pricing structures and recommend adjustments based on performance metrics and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure pricing strategies align with promotional plans.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to assess effectiveness of pricing strategies.
- Prepare regular reports detailing pricing updates and market trends for management.
- Review and adjust pricing structures based on product performance and market conditions.
- Assist in the development of pricing tools and models to assist in decision making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in pricing or financial analysis, purchasing or related field, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Excel and pricing software; experience with SQL or other data analysis or AI tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
