Pricing Manager
About the role
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Pricing Manager to join our team in Downers Grove, IL. In this full-time, exempt position, you will leverage data science, advanced analytics, and machine learning techniques to develop and optimize pricing strategies that maximize profitability, improve market competitiveness, and align with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of pricing analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Lead and manage the creation of data-driven pricing strategies aligned with the company's revenue and profit goals, considering market conditions, customer behavior, and competitor pricing.
- Build an in-house price optimization engine using machine learning and optimization techniques to determine optimal pricing and discounting strategies for products and services.
- Analyze large datasets (including sales, customer, and market data) to uncover insights and trends that inform pricing decisions.
- Build and maintain pricing models to forecast demand elasticity, optimize price points, and identify opportunities for margin improvement.
- Oversee market research and competitive benchmarking to ensure pricing strategies align with market trends and customer behaviors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product, and Finance to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Prepare and present pricing analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Stay current with developments in data science, machine learning, and pricing methodologies, continuously assessing and iterating pricing strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, pricing science, revenue management, or a similar analytical role.
- Proven track record of building pricing models, pricing optimization techniques, and demand forecasting.
- Familiarity with machine learning, regression models, and statistical analysis in the context of pricing.
- Experience managing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
- Solid understanding of pricing strategies, elasticity, segmentation, and competitive analysis.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable pricing recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative, data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Work Environment
- Dress attire is casual but professional in an office setting.
- Employees are encouraged to wear “Radwear” (shirt with company logo) once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received.
- Radwell ID Badge and Access card must be worn at all times.

Schedule
This is an exempt position with a general work schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including one hour for lunch. Employees are expected to adhere to time-off policies and arrive on time.

Pay
The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000–$150,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also bonus-eligible, with a target bonus percentage based on company performance.
