Pricing Manager
About the role
Emerson Professional Tools has an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Manager to help shape and execute pricing strategies that support profitable growth across the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies across the Americas by evaluating market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and business objectives to drive profitable growth.
- Lead pricing initiatives, including price modeling, margin analysis, and business case development, while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to align on pricing decisions.
- Provide strategic oversight of pricing programs and customer funding initiatives, ensuring effective governance, policy compliance, and performance tracking.
- Deliver advanced pricing analytics and recommendations, including price impact assessments, profitability analysis, and customer-specific pricing support that enable informed business decisions.
- Manage pricing communications and tools, ensuring accurate, timely, and effective delivery of pricing information to internal teams and channel partners.
- Oversee pricing governance, processes, and systems to maintain data integrity, operational excellence, and alignment with global pricing policies.
- Lead and develop pricing talent and capabilities by fostering collaboration, building scalable analytical tools, and driving continuous improvement across the pricing function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, analytics, or commercial strategy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Domo.
- MBA or other advanced business degree.
