Responsibilities
- Work with Sales leaders to develop and implement pricing strategies aligned to market trends
- Manage Pricing Analyst position
- Monitor all pricing administration systems & processes including: Customer price files, distributor rebate program, quotes, promotional programs, inter-company pricing & customer price increases
- Instill discipline in our processes to ensure price files are accurate and price changes are approved per company guidelines
- Review pricing disputes and take corrective actions to prevent future issues
- Collaborate with business leaders to: Modernize pricing systems and processes to maximize profitability, Automate routine price administration tasks and report generation, Collaborate with business leaders on the design of BI solutions aimed at providing self-serve analytics tools, Conduct ad-hoc profitability analysis of customers and products to identify revenue generating opportunities, Provide sales and profitability reports to management as needed
- Work with all business functions and our customer base on issues/topics related to pricing and rebates
- Support special projects as needed
- A. / B.S. with a concentration in mathematics, statistics, finance or economics and preferably will have an MBA.
- Significant experience, leadership and insight expected in one or more of the following: Pricing, statistics, mathematics, marketing, product management, corporate finance or strategy
- Proficiency with advanced Excel functions
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (preferably QlikView)
