In this role, you'll learn to model pricing scenarios, evaluate customer programs, support contract negotiations, and uncover insights that drive business success. Responsibilities
- Analyze pricing scenarios and customer opportunities utilizing analytical tools and financial modeling.
- Support the development and execution of customer-specific pricing strategies and promotional programs.
- Review customer agreements and participate in regular pricing and contract reviews.
- Monitor customer attrition, win/loss trends, and market dynamics to support pricing recommendations.
- Partner with Sales teams to support contract negotiations and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Execute pricing adjustments within established contract terms.
- Conduct capacity and business impact analyses for customer opportunities.
- Present analyses and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Evaluate the impact of products, competitors, distribution channels, and operational factors on pricing decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance business performance through data-driven insights.
Requirements
Associate Pricing Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of financial concepts such as ROI, Net Present Value (NPV), and related analysis methods.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to gather information from multiple sources and apply findings to business decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Equivalent combination of experience will be considered.
- Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and functions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Pricing Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of analytical experience, or equivalent combination of experience.
- Experience applying financial concepts such as ROI, Net Present Value (NPV), and other analytical methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- VLOOKUP
- INDEX/MATCH
- Pivot Tables
- Conditional Formatting
- Charting
- Macros
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP, ERP systems, or Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
- Experience supporting pricing, finance, sales operations, or commercial analysis functions.
