Manages the cost and price proposal process to ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant, and complete, meeting external client requirements, company standards, and established estimating system requirements. Applies specific functional expertise and general industry knowledge to develop and refine pricing approaches, supporting high-quality proposal deliverables and competitive, well-supported cost narratives.

Responsibilities

  • Develops or contributes to product and solution pricing activities addressing moderately complex pricing and proposal challenges, including validating pricing inputs, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment between technical, cost, and price volumes.
  • Works independently with some guidance and may review, mentor, or guide activities of junior pricing staff.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a pricing analyst or pricing in a federal government or commercial environment
  • Experience with obtaining and reviewing estimates for cost elements
  • Ability to counsel proposal teams on price strategy based on historical experience
  • Ability to support a fast-paced, high-volume, and diverse workload
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pricing various contract types across various contract vehicles
  • Experience with developing or delivering price strategy presentations or analyses and training to executives and key decision-makers
  • Knowledge of system integration, the use of information technology, and advanced intelligence systems and tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Secret clearance

Pay

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

This role may be remote, hybrid, or onsite:

  • Remote: Occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with possible visits to a customer facility, aligned with leadership expectations and role needs.
  • Onsite: Primary work location at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers as required.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
