Pricing Analyst (Entry Level)

About the role

This position supports the Corporate Headquarters Contracts Department by providing essential pricing support for ongoing and new business in a government-contracting environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with and assist the Proposal Development Team in determining pricing strategies for each opportunity selected for bid
• Use cost/pricing models in Microsoft Excel that align with proposed strategies and comply with Government direction
• Assist with developing the Cost and Pricing Volume in accordance with RFP requirements using Microsoft Excel and Word templates, supporting schedules, and documentation for submission
• Create and maintain electronic folders to warehouse all information and correspondence related to proposal development and submission
• Support price negotiations

Requirements

• 0 to 3 years’ experience performing similar duties in a Government contracting environment
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in math, engineering, or the sciences
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Skills

• Ability to interface across functional areas (accounting, finance, HR) and with various levels of senior management
• Analytical skills with attention to detail and strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
• Experience using Pivot Tables and VLookup
• Excellent oral, written communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally at all levels
• Ability to work independently under a cooperative work-style/team environment and multitask as required
