Pricing Analyst
About the role
Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
The Pricing Analyst supports Dana Aftermarket's pricing strategy by managing pricing data, analyzing market and business trends, and coordinating pricing-related projects. This role provides insights that drive pricing decisions, supports tariff pricing initiatives, and helps ensure effective execution of global pricing strategies across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage pricing data, generate reports, and manipulate ERP data (SAP).
- Coordinate pricing projects aligned with Dana's strategy.
- Analyze and plan pricing projects to meet customer, market, and internal needs.
- Communicate insights from pricing data to support key projects.
- Understand Dana Aftermarket's strategies and channel complexities.
- Assist in global pricing strategy projects.
- Serve as key contributor and project manager for US tariff data management and tariff pricing deployment, including financial analytics and developing a working knowledge of tariff regulations and cost exposure.
- Provide expertise in data management and governance.
- Stay updated on pricing methods/trends for Dana and the aftermarket.
- Master Dana's global AFM pricing systems.
- Perform all other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business Management or Finance.
- Business Intelligence Analytics Experience (Power BI, Sisense, Qlik, Tableau).
- Ability to work with international teams.
- Price Management Software Experience (Price f(x), Vendavo, Syncron, PROS).
- Experience with Power BI, or other data visualization software (Power BI, Sisense, Tableau).
- SAP ERP experience.
- Plant finance background is a plus.
