JOB SUMMARY
The Pricer processes donations into salable, salvage, and trash categories, prices merchandise, and ensures accurate counts. They must adhere to production goals and maintain a clean processing area.
JOB DUTIES
- Sorts donations into salable, salvage, and trash categories
- Placed non-salable items into appropriate containers
- Maintains production goals
- Pricing merchandise using the baseline price guide
- Keeps up-to-date with brand names, merchandise knowledge, industry trends, and competitive pricing
- Maintains processing area and equipment in a neat, clean, and operable condition
- Performs mark-downs in compliance with GGC policy
- Reviews and utilizes current Consumer Product Safety Commission recall bulletins
- Fulfills safety and security practices
- Attends in-service and related training as assigned
- Moves wares totes to/off the sales floor safely
- Performs other duties as assigned
PRODUCTION GOALS
- Shoe Pricer: 60 totes per day
- Accessories Pricer: 20 totes per day
- Books Pricer: 50 or 2.5 Dandux per day
- Electrics Pricer: 50 totes and 3 Dandux per day
- Wares Pricer: 75 totes
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs., bend, reach, and stand for extended periods
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Variations of temperature
INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with TLC, ATL, team members, customers, and donors
- Maintains a positive, friendly attitude and neat, clean appearance
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
- Performs basic mathematical skills
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends/flexible schedule
