Price Manager

Schedule

Remote: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; must be able to attend meetings at WM’s Westborough, MA Corporate Office.

Pay

The expected salary range for this on-site position is $106,370 – $169,950 with an annual incentive plan.

About the role

This role requires business acumen and leadership capabilities to comfortably engage in one-on-one conversations with New England Area Leadership. The position drives pricing results by facilitating effective processes, tool usage, and adherence to corporate guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Corporate Price Management team in developing pricing strategies and implementation plans and manage their execution.
• Support area disciplined growth initiatives.
• Lead the implementation of emerging strategies through project management, training, and coaching.
• Direct and coordinate profitability improvement efforts, including:
  • Route profitability review
  • Customer profitability review
  • Major contract review
• Support the development and training of new field pricing members.
• Pull data, analyze trends and pricing action effectiveness, and recommend next steps.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing of best practices and rollout of value-related charges.
• Facilitate the implementation and use of tools in adherence to corporate guidance.
• Validate pricing assumptions to support revenue analysis and budgeting processes as required.
• Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and the effectiveness of pricing actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (accredited) in Business Administration or a similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, a high school diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of additional experience.
• Seven years of previous work experience (in addition to education requirements).
