Preventive Maintenance (PM) Service Technician - Utilities (Aerial/HD Truck)
About the role
Ring Power Corporation is seeking a skilled individual to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to conduct all assigned work safely, adhering to safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations. This includes wearing proper personal protective equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Wears proper personal protective equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance, including changing engine fluids, filters, lubricating, cleaning components/parts, and starting equipment to test performance.
- Maintains/makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and supporting systems in the field.
- Supplies all required information, supporting documentation, and photos to the Preventive Maintenance Dispatcher and Service Estimator for repairs and additional services identified during scheduled preventive maintenance visits.
- Maintains personal company service literature, stays updated on industry technical changes, maintains tools required for this position, and attends training sessions as required.
- Works in a neat and orderly fashion, adhering to contamination control guidelines, and continuously looks for ways to improve work methods, work areas, and safety standards.
- Maintains flexibility of schedule to regularly work nights and weekends as required.
- Completes all required documentation to be provided to the customer and PM Dispatcher.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Formal Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: 1-2 years required.
Credentials
- Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
- Valid Drivers License - Not Required But Highly Desired.
Physical Demands
- Frequently - (3-6 hours/day): Reaching, Crouching, Standing, Walking, Pushing - Up to 25 lbs., Pulling - Up to 25 lbs., Lifting - Up to 25 lbs.
- Occasionally - (up to 3 hours/day): Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Grasping, Fingering, Feeling, Talking, Hearing.
- Constantly - (6-8 hours/day): Inside conditions, Protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature change.
Environmental Conditions
- Occasionally - (up to 3 hours/day): Noise sufficient to cause the worker to shout to be heard above the ambient noise level, Vibration, Exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities of whole body, Air particulates / contaminants, Worker required to wear respirator.
- Frequently - (3-6 hours/day): Outside environmental conditions, No effective protection from weather, Extreme cold, Extreme heat.

- Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products, and relevant Dealer software programs.
- Has technical knowledge of products represented by the company.
