Preventive Maintenance (PM) Planner
Position Overview
The Preventive Maintenance (PM) Planner is responsible for the strategic planning and coordination of all preventive and condition based maintenance activities within the facility. This role focuses on improving equipment reliability and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of maintenance work. The planner will develop comprehensive work packages, manage necessary permits, and maintain accurate records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This position requires close collaboration with the facility's Reliability Engineer and Maintenance Supervisor to continuously optimize maintenance strategies.
Qualifications
- High School diploma and 3-5+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment, either as a technician, lead, or planner. Hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance practices, and equipment operation.
- CMMS Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is essential, preferably SAP
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage a large backlog and balance multiple priorities.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Safety Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of industrial safety procedures, particularly Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
