PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Location

Canteen – 4100 West Wisconsin Avenue, Appleton, WI 54913.

About the role

Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using a company‑owned vehicle.
• Visit existing customers to assess service adequacy, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Visually inspect and listen to machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to access problem areas.
• Inspect parts for wear, misalignment, or other issues; remove and replace worn or defective parts; repair broken parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation after repair.
• Review inventory and order parts; ship and receive machines; maintain equipment inventory.
• Prepare machines for installation at accounts; assist in installations and removals.
• Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools (e.g., drills, grinders, welding torches) for machine repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous maintenance and repair experience is preferred.

Schedule

Full‑time schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; weekend rotation after training.

Pay

$26.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour.
