Responsibilities
- Maintain a basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
- Perform vehicle preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments.
- Conduct oil changes and fluids replenishment.
- Adjust and perform light repairs, including tire changes.
- Carry out basic electrical work, such as light changes.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and the sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
- Complete applicable Company training programs.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
Qualifications
- Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
