Responsibilities

  • Maintain a basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
  • Perform vehicle preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments.
  • Conduct oil changes and fluids replenishment.
  • Adjust and perform light repairs, including tire changes.
  • Carry out basic electrical work, such as light changes.
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and the sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
  • Complete applicable Company training programs.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
  • Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
