About the role
Yancey Bros. Co., established in 1914, serves as the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia, providing comprehensive sales, parts, and service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Drive to customer’s job site daily to complete preventive maintenance.
- Operate heavy equipment to determine deficiencies or performance issues daily.
- Perform all necessary preventive maintenance work for each specific interval service.
- Complete all work orders, time sheets & inspections from completed services.
- Operate service truck safely and comply with all regulations.
- Must be able to obtain a CDL license if required.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
- Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or on-highway trucks.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include some nights and occasional weekends.
- Valid, active driver's license. Class B CDL license preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file, including but not limited to: Road Test administered by Yancey personnel, Background check and MVR with less than 10 points, DOT Physical, Drug Screen.
