Pressman Feeder Operator

About the role

As a Feeder Operator (Pressman Assistant), you will assist the Offset Press Operator of a Heidelberg XL-106 W/UV printing press and perform regular maintenance on the equipment. The role is key to delivering high-quality printing and meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Run the press and deliver a product that meets client needs and company expectations
• Perform quality controls while running and make necessary adjustments to the machine
• Perform maintenance and minor mechanical adjustments or repairs on the equipment following an established preventive maintenance schedule
• Ensure all raw material is available before starting production
• Work in close collaboration with the Assistant Press Operator
• Participate in any other related tasks

Requirements

• Mechanical skills (a plus)
• Printing industry background (a plus)
• Entry level to 2 years of experience as a 2nd Press Operator (a plus)
• Autonomous, resourceful, accountable, and meticulous
• Great team spirit and flexibility

Pay

From $20.00 per hour plus shift premium.

Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• Evening shift (2nd Shift: 2:30 pm to 10 pm or 3rd Shift: 10 pm to 6:30 am)
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime as needed
• Weekend availability required
