Press Technician
Location: Manitowoc, WI
Pay
Starting wage $21.00 per hour and up based on experience.
Schedule
- 1st shift (5:00am - 3:00pm) and 2nd shift (3:00pm - 1:00am) available
- Monday through Thursday with overtime as needed
About the role
We're looking for a detail-driven Press Technician to work hands-on in our stamping presses, where your mechanical expertise directly ensures the quality of products used by millions every day. Your precision ensures the reliability and safety of the ammunition produced.
Responsibilities
- Operate presses and follow checklists, procedures, and guidelines to maintain production flow and meet customer specifications
- Inspect brass casings for cosmetic and functional defects using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers) for quality monitoring
- Utilize PLEX production software effectively
- Perform mechanical adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including cleaning the work area, lockout/tagout, and wearing required PPE
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical, mathematical, reading comprehension, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with large press machinery
- Experience operating a forklift preferred
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Location-Specific Requirements
- Successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
- Access to ITAR controlled technical data; employment contingent upon ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required
