Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating the daily Press operations plan
- Responsible for providing the line leaders with daily start-up meeting information
- Responsible for managing the training needs of Press operators, technicians and line leaders
- Responsible to verify raw material availability and report any shortages
- Maintain payroll for Press employees
- Apply corrective actions to Press employees as required.
- Ensure materials / supplies are used efficiently
- Understand, teach, personify, and enforce FI-11 & 5S standards
- Attend production planning meetings, other meetings, and training sessions as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years of Production experience
- Experience in mentoring and/or coaching Operators
- Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements
- Able to use strong skills in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing including machine capabilities and efficiencies, etc.
