Press Section Lead Night shift

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating the daily Press operations plan
• Responsible for providing the line leaders with daily start-up meeting information
• Responsible for managing the training needs of Press operators, technicians and line leaders
• Responsible to verify raw material availability and report any shortages
• Maintain payroll for Press employees
• Apply corrective actions to Press employees as required.
• Ensure materials / supplies are used efficiently
• Understand, teach, personify, and enforce FI-11 & 5S standards
• Attend production planning meetings, other meetings, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 5+ years of Production experience
• Experience in mentoring and/or coaching Operators
• Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements
• Able to use strong skills in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing including machine capabilities and efficiencies, etc.
