Press Operator I

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic press machine to produce high tolerance plates used for the assembly of heat exchangers according to specification and procedure required for final product.
• Run, monitor and adjust the press line to achieve quality specifications to account for variables such as new tools, material, etc.
• Test and verify quality of parts before, during, and after production according to the procedures.
• Manage inventory of both raw material and finished goods, packing and handling effectively and efficiently.
• Process the tool changes and cleaning.
• Research the breakdown causes and make the necessary repairs.
• Document and communicate issues to stakeholders.
• Maintain the order and cleanliness of the workplace and press lines.

Qualifications, Education, And Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment and machine operator experience preferred.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient at reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity preferred.
• Meticulous attention to detail and focus on quality.
• High degree of problem-solving skills, especially in mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computers knowledge and skills.
• Safety Sensitive position.
