Job Summary
The Press Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate completion of print jobs.
What You'll Do...
- Set up and operate printing presses based on job requirements
- Review job tickets and specifications to ensure correct materials, ink, and settings
- Monitor press during production to maintain color consistency and print quality
- Perform routine press maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Inspect printed materials for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Record production data and maintain accurate logs
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Collaborate with production team to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous printing or press operation experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
