Press Operator
About the role
The Forge Press Operator is responsible for ensuring the forging unit operates according to Standardized Work, Control Plan, and other plant processes. Duties also include maintaining product quality, ensuring safe operation of equipment, and assisting personnel.
Responsibilities
- Operate forge press and/or trim press
- Repair forging tongs as needed
- Remove/install forge/trim cassettes as needed
- Clean work area as you go
- Perform minor maintenance on die spray equipment/air blow off
Requirements
- Ability to stand for 10 hours and manipulate parts weighing up to 20 pounds
