About the role

Performs tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices. Sets up, operates, performs maintenance on, and troubleshoots equipment. Conducts quality inspections on processing lines, including quality checks on rubber stopper pads using tools such as a mallet hammer and other hand tools. Works within clearly defined SOPs and adheres to quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain heated press machines.
  • Conduct quality inspections on rubber stopper pads and processing lines.
  • Use hand tools, measurement tools (e.g., microscopes), and basic math calculations.
  • Perform assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
  • Work flexible or extended hours as required.
  • Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Zero to one year of manufacturing assembly experience.
  • Previous manufacturing work experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, and comprehension).
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (Rubber department).
  • Must wear steel toe or composite shoes.
  • Pass an eye exam.

Pay

$17.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.

Schedule

  • 12-month duration.
  • Hours: 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  • H Shift: 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (weekends included).

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
