About the role
The Machine Operator will operate, adjust, and make simple set-ups on shear, punch, drill, saw, thread, or similar machines from raw steel stock.
Schedule
3rd shift, Sunday - Thursday, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Operates machinery including coil-fed and punch presses.
- Performs basic maintenance and successfully changes dies.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Requirements
- Requires standing up to 10 hours per day.
- Repetitive use of both hands up to 10 hours per day.
- Constant awareness of surroundings.
- Requires pushing, pulling, or lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Requires ability to be forklift certified.
Pay
$23.12 per hour
