Press Operator (10-Color Flexo-Press)

About the role

We are actively hiring at our Neenah, WI facility. ProAmpac is a leading global flexible packaging company committed to safety and growth.

Responsibilities

• Safely sets up, operates, and monitors press machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
• Completes press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Makes sure the production process is monitored, inspected, and tested to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
• Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
• Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
• Ensures machinery and surrounding areas are kept organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
• Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by safety policies and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.

Qualifications, Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required; a GED is preferred.
• Two to four years of related field experience required.
• No leadership duties.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, establish priorities to meet deadlines.
• Communicates effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
• Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
• Self-confident, self-motivated, polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
