About the role

Hydro Extrusions is a world-leading aluminium extrusion business with operations spanning 100 production sites across 40 countries and employs 20,000 people. Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the extrusion press.
• Ensure quality and quantity of material produced on the extrusion press.
• Maintain and operate the Log Furnace.
• Maintain and operate the Log Shear.
• Maintain and operate the Extrusion Press.
• Maintain and operate the Extrusion Puller System.
• Control the Extrusion Cooling Process.
• Maintain and operate the Extrusion Handling System.
• Set up and monitor the extrusion press system using computers.
• Perform quality checks on extruded materials.
• Keep the press operation area clean and organized.

Requirements

• Demonstrate the ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis, with a partner.
• Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience (desirable).

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in Extrusion Operation.
• Knowledge of extrusion processes and quality measures.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with AS400 system.

Pay and Schedule

• Starting Rate of pay: $25.25 per hour.
• Shifts available: 12-hour continental night shift - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
• Shift Premium: $1.00/HR to start (less than 1 year); $1.25 for 1 to 3 years and $1.50 for 3+ years of service.
