Responsibilities
- Select and run appropriate programs, pull tooling, and set up the brake.
- Measure parts using calipers and profile gauges to ensure accuracy.
- Complete in-process inspection reports to maintain quality standards.
- Handle materials, including stainless steel.
- Perform routine maintenance on the press brake.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to set up, form, and inspect parts.
- Work with tight tolerances to meet product specifications.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in the use of calipers and profile gauges for precision measurement.
- Able to perform machine setups and follow technical instructions.
- Experience working with tight tolerances.
- Familiarity with reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Experience with Trumpf Tru Tops Boost or similar programming software.
- Previous experience working with stainless steel and other metals.
