Press Brake Operator - OJT

Job Summary

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to engineering specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and be proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring tools to ensure accuracy in production. Classification: Non-Exempt.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press machines according to job specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
• Ensure proper alignment and positioning of metal parts before bending or forming.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain precision and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
• Communicate any equipment malfunctions or production issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with material handling and other fabrication tasks as needed.

Shift 1st (5am-2pm) 2nd (2pm-11pm)
