Press Brake Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer orders and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
• Review production schedules to determine required materials and resources
• Prepare and operate complex bend setups and forming operations on press brakes
• Modify and customize punch and die tools as needed for specific projects
• Program press brakes using all features, including bending at various angles, step bends, and back gauge transfers
• Ensure proper execution of bending sequences, delays, and tooling adjustments for complex projects
• Maintain safety standards and ensure equipment is operated correctly and efficiently
• Perform quality checks on finished parts to verify adherence to specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling, programming, and machine operation

Requirements

• Proven experience with press brake operation and complex bending processes
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for precise measurements and calculations
• Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation abilities
• Ability to modify and set up custom punch and die tooling
• Proficiency in programming press brakes, including advanced features
• Knowledge of production scheduling and material requirements planning
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
