Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Press Brake Operator for 2nd shift in Fayetteville, NC.
Pay
$20.53 per hour plus a $1.50 shift premium.
Schedule
Core hours: 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM, Monday through Thursday. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

Responsibilities
- Fabricate and/or modify copper or aluminum bus and modify or add cutouts to doors and covers
- Maintain the area schedule, making modifications as necessary to ensure a constant and orderly flow of work
- Work from oral and/or written instructions, prints, sketches, and manufacturing information sheets
- Utilize manufacturing information sheets to determine necessary parts, write requisitions, and work with Kan Ban attendant to obtain materials from stock areas
- Operate fabricating equipment such as FMS, press brake, shear, punch, bender, and nibbler to make or modify all types of bus connectors, risers, taps, and mains
- Fabricate and/or modify and assemble braces, spacers, barriers, and supports for copper or aluminum as required
- Utilize electric trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, ergo lifts, and cranes to move material and product as required
- Assemble, tape, or sleeve if required or necessary
- Set up and operate nibbler/punch press to modify or add cutouts and holes to doors, covers, etc.
- Use hand tools to deburr and finish pieces as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- One year of machine operation experience; preferably press brake
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Fayetteville, NC (Active-Duty Military Service member candidates exempt from geographical limitation)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Press Brake machine operation (preferred)
- Previous experience using precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, protractors)
- Previous experience with reading blueprints
Skills
- Ability to understand and read blueprints
- Sufficient knowledge of machine operation to fabricate metal parts and make sketches of bus bar assemblies as needed
- Ability to interface with personal workstation computer to pull blueprints, review job orders in DMM system, and check in/out completed orders in DMMA
- Ability to work and operate multiple workstations in workflow cell (e.g., FMS/FINN, press brake, spot welders) to meet expected takt time or daily demand rate
