The Asian Community Center of Sacramento Valley, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1972. It provides a continuum of supportive services for older adults and family caregivers, including home and community-based programs, residential living and care communities, and Meals on Wheels Sacramento County.

About the role

This role is for a mission-driven, strategic, and community-centered executive to lead ACC Senior Services into its next chapter of impact, innovation, and sustainability. The CEO will oversee operations, ensure strong financial and organizational performance, drive growth, advance ACC's mission, and strengthen long-term stability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations and ensure strong financial and organizational performance
  • Drive growth and advance ACC's mission
  • Shape the future of ACC's senior living, healthcare, volunteer, and community-based services
  • Serve as ACC's managing agent for Meals on Wheels Sacramento County
  • Provide thoughtful executive oversight of ACC's managing-agent relationship with Meals on Wheels Sacramento County
  • Deepen collaboration, support long-term planning, strengthen stewardship of shared resources, and maximize the collective impact of both organizations
  • Ensure ACC's programs reflect the needs, lived experiences, and aspirations of older adults, families, caregivers, and communities across the region
  • Ensure high quality of care and warm community feeling for all of the residents and their families in each of the facilities in ACC's portfolio

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • At least five years of experience managing services such as senior health care, long-term care, and/or social services in nonprofit, community-based organizations
  • Residential Care for the Elderly certification and direct experience overseeing skilled nursing, senior health care, independent living, and/or assisted living facilities
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulatory compliance and ability to understand and apply applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations

Many of ACC's programs are offered at low-to-no cost to participants due to the generous grant funding and private donations it receives to fund its programs and services.
