Key Responsibilities
- Apply sealcoat, slurry, and other preservation materials using appropriate tools and techniques
- Ensure consistent coverage, proper thickness, and high-quality application
- Monitor material conditions and adjust application methods as needed
- Perform surface preparation tasks, including cleaning, edging, and minor repairs
Equipment & Worksite Operations
- Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure proper operation
- Assist with loading, unloading, and handling materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites at the end of each shift
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain safe work zones in accordance with traffic control plans
- Follow all flagging procedures and safety protocols to protect crew members and the public
- Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Team Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with crew members, equipment operators, and supervisors
- Support team operations and assist with additional tasks as needed
- Adapt to changing job site conditions and priorities
Work Environment
- Field-based role in active construction and roadway environments
- Physically demanding work requiring standing, lifting, and working outdoors
- Team-oriented crew environment focused on safety and productivity

Requirements
- Experience in pavement preservation, construction labor, or a related field preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- Experience with sealcoat, slurry, or similar material applications
- Familiarity with traffic control and work zone safety practices
