Responsibilities
- Design and develop branded Microsoft Word templates for proposals, reports, engagement letters, and other business documents
- Create and program Word themes, styles, color palettes, fonts, headers, footers, and automated tables of contents
- Build polished template elements including cover pages, cover letters, content layouts, and example tables
- Configure templates for usability, consistency, and scalability across thousands of documents
- Apply advanced Microsoft Word functionality including styles, fields, section breaks, macros, and document automation where appropriate
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand template requirements and incorporate branding standards
- Work with content libraries to ensure graphics, photography, and reusable assets are integrated into templates
- Update and refine templates as branding and business needs evolve
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Experience designing and building complex document templates, report templates, or proposal templates
- Advanced knowledge of Word Styles, Themes, Headers/Footers, Table of Contents, Section Breaks, Tables, and document formatting
- Strong understanding of document architecture and template engineering
- Excellent visual design skills with an eye for typography, layout, and branding
- Ability to create templates that are intuitive for users with varying levels of Microsoft Word experience
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include experience creating proposal, engagement letter, or corporate report templates
- Experience with document automation, macros, or advanced Word functionality
- Background supporting corporate branding initiatives or design systems
- Experience collaborating with marketing, proposal, or communications teams
