About the role

As a Presentation Expert, you’ll enable a consistent experience for guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. This role leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store, including Food & Beverage and Food Service. You’ll also own pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work to ensure efficient delivery to guests.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests and tailoring interactions based on their needs.
• Engage with guests genuinely, ask questions to understand their needs, and provide knowledgeable assistance using store tools, products, and services.
• Thank guests for shopping at Target and ensure they leave with a positive experience.
• Deliver accurate and timely merchandise transitions, adhering to street dates for new merchandise.
• Ensure all signing, including promotional and planogrammed ISM, is set accurately during transitions.
• Maintain presentation standards by keeping the sales floor fully stocked, backstocking excess product and fixtures, zoning, and ensuring accurate signing and labeling.
• Understand how operational procedures (e.g., planogram ties, product capacities, sales floor quantities) impact shortage, profitability, in-store replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
• Appropriately use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment, following equipment control guidelines.
• Ensure displays are in proper working condition and re-order as necessary.
• Own select GM areas to ensure the sales floor is full, in stock, and accurately signed for guests.
• Conduct weekly price change workloads for all GM categories.
• Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Accurately execute all pulls (e.g., planogram, out of stock, EXFs, one-for-ones, and guest requests) and backstock product efficiently and timely.
• Complete all backroom daily and weekly audits.
• Operate power equipment only if certified.
• Maintain backroom and fixture room organization, location accuracy, and follow equipment guidelines.
• Execute processes accurately with attention to detail, monitor progress, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance, including identifying and correcting hazards.
• Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with all safety policies and best practices.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up (OPU), and Drive Up (DU) while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws (e.g., adult beverage regulations).
• Perform all other duties as assigned based on business needs.
