Preschool Teacher - Floater

About the role

The Floater teacher will be responsible for providing a nurturing and safe setting for children at the preschool. This position will provide support for the teachers in their assigned classroom. This position will provide guidance to support the physical, mental, and emotional development of the children, and create a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide an environment that is safe, positive, nurturing, and respectful of the children
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Observe and assess the development of the children
• Develop and implement behavior management strategies
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences
• Maintain proper records, including documenting observations and milestones
• Ensure all safety regulations are followed
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Model appropriate behaviors for children
• Work with a team of teachers to ensure a cohesive and quality learning environment

Qualifications

• Candidate must be 21 years or older
