Preschool Teacher - CDA or ECE Degree Required

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team and support children during this critical stage of development.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
• Arrange learning centers to encourage independence, creativity, and hands-on exploration
• Create clearly defined areas for small group, large group, dramatic play, art, literacy, and quiet time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that meets licensing and health regulations
• Implement visual schedules and organized routines to promote smooth transitions
• Monitor and maintain classroom supplies and learning materials
• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities
• Support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development
• Create a classroom environment that is nurturing, inclusive, and safe
• Collaborate with families and fellow staff members to ensure each child’s success
• Observe and document developmental milestones
• Uphold MN state childcare licensing standards and center policies

Requirements

• Minimum AA Degree in Early Childhood Education (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with preschool-aged children
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or obtain in 30 days of employment)
• Strong Organizational skills
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A positive, dependable, and caring attitude toward children and team members
