About the role

Little Sprouts is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team in Concord, MA. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschoolers
• Provide a safe, healthy, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and learning
• Assess and document student progress using age-appropriate methods
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to share updates and gather feedback
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Valid Massachusetts Early Education and Development License (EEDDL)
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, and evenings

• Pass a background check
• Pass a criminal history record check
• Pass a child abuse registry check

• Excellent observational and assessment skills
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices
• Strong organizational and time management skills
