Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Pre- Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum
• Teach beginning reading and math skills
• Aid children with developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel
• Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications

• CDA Credential
• Associates degree in ECE or related field and state teaching certification
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Problem-solving and mediation skills

Compensation

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

About Learning My Way Montessori

Established in 2017, Learning My Way Montessori is a licensed and insured star 4 daycare center with two locations. One location in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, the other in the Norristown section of Montgomery County. We act as the second family to the children and provide before and after as well as overnight care.
