Job Summary
The Lawndale Elementary School District has an opening for a Full Time Preschool Teacher at William Anderson Elementary School. This position is a 10‑month role that accrues one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment and is benefit eligible. LESD provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees.
Requirements / Qualifications
- AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
- Possess or be eligible for a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit (CTC).
- Proof of AA Degree (transcript or copy).
- Valid California Driver’s License.
- Proof of Immunization Verification (Senate Bill 792): Pertussis, Whooping Cough, Measles, Influenza (flu).
- TB Clearance.
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Resume.
- Child Development Permit – Site Supervisor (show proof of possession or eligibility).
Pay
Salary range: $30.71 – $35.64 per hour. Salary placement contingent on verification of credential requirements.
Schedule
Length of work year: 10 months (August–June). Employment type: Full Time, Part Time. Position schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 AM.
