Preschool Teacher Assistant - Afternoons 2:30pm - 6pm - Part time

Part-time afternoon position, 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm.

About the role

We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic Preschool Teacher Assistant to support our infant classroom and help deliver Cadence Education’s research-based curriculum in a warm, home-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead teachers to create a joyful, nurturing learning space for infants.
• Document and share daily developmental milestones with families.
• Follow children’s interests, ensure safety, and scaffold play with language, toys, and activities.
• Model and reinforce age-appropriate social behaviors.
• Contribute ideas for a balanced daily schedule that balances quiet and active play, indoor and outdoor exploration, and fine/gross motor activities.

Requirements

• Meets all state teacher assistant requirements.
• Prior experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare is a plus.
• Demonstrated passion for infant growth and development.
